Last year I did nothing special for the site anniversary July 4. This year I have! I have finally updated the web site!

So much has happened since the last update in December. I slipped and fell on ice in my front yard resulting on another torn rotator cuff, this time my left one. I had surgery on January 24th, my third! Yes, I have had three surgeries in the past four years. The other two were on my right shoulder rotator cuff. Months of physical therapy have resulted in partial success. I am no longer in any pain however I cannot raise either arm over my head.

I want to than all of my friends here who sent me wishes for a speedy recovery. As many of the people here on the site have said so many times; I have made so many friends through the site. Thank you one and all!

Sadly, I could not attend the Rubber Doll event in Minnesota. There are hundreds of pictures on their web site. In chatting with Jovina and Steffy it was obvious everyone had a great time. Hopefully the event will occur in 2009 so I can attend.

Our business has kept me busy. Janet's Closet has become the largest store serving the TG community in the U.S. We continually add new items to our retail store and our web site. It keeps me busy!

The store, along with work on the house, I have a new vegetable garden, has really made live hectic. I tell people I am busier now than when I was working! I retired at age 55.

Enough of the excuses. This update contains contributions from January to May 2008. We have seven new maskers as well as many past contributors in this update. I'm sure I have made some errors and probably have left a few people out. If you sent images in the past six months and don't see them here please contact me. If you find errors please do so also. The dreaded archive gallery will remain unchanged for several months while I get caught up.

One of my goals for 2007 was to reach two million hits on the site. Well, that event has happened! Unfortunately I don't know exactly when it occurred. I doubt there are many sites like ours that have been online continuously for 12 years. We will continue to remain a free site supported by Kerry's business and mine.

I've had an idea for everyone to get involved in; since Halloween is coming up and most people will be getting their masks out of the closet anyway at this time of year, I thought it would be nice if there was one big photo of us all - in the style if a big school photograph!

Basically, take a full-length photo of yourself masked as big as you can, and send it to me. I'll then put us together as if we were all having our photo taken. It'll be nice!

So get going! Please have your image sent to me by Halloween (October 31st for those who can't remember) - extra points will be awarded for school uniform.
